Grandmaster Deepan Chakkravarthy tied for the third spot in the Paris International chess tournament after drawing the ninth and final round with Spain’s Daniel Alsina in Paris on Sunday.Deepan eventually took the fourth spot with 6.5 points.Parimarjan Negi (six points) tied for the fifth spot and eventually took the eighth place on tiebreak.
